The dose for Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis is: Once a day take 200 milligrams. The most you should take in a day is 300 milligrams of Oruvail-Sr or 200 milligrams of Oruvail-Sr. Some side effects, such as headache or upset stomach, increase in severity as the dose gets higher.
The normal dose of Oruvail is 25 to 50 milligrams every 6 to 8 hours as needed. Smaller people, older people, and those with kidney or liver disease need smaller doses of Oruvail-Sr. Doses above 80 milligrams have no additional effect. For children less than 16 years of age, its not recommended, only if prescribed by a doctor. In older adults the dosage can be lower.
