Why is Lortab prescribed?

Lortab belongs to a class of drugs called narcotic analgesics. It helps relieve pain. Acetaminophen is a less potent pain reliever that increases the effects of Lortab. What should I discuss with my doctor before taking Lortab?

Before taking Lortab, tell your doctor if you have

Kidney disease
Liver disease

Urinary retention
An enlarged prostate
Hypothyroidism
Seizures or epilepsy
Gallbladder disease
A head injury
Addison's disease
